What Has Your Attention? And How Does That Hurt You?

What are you paying attention to? Why are you paying attention to that? Who told you to do that? How much do you trust them? Do you miss anything by following their advice? Now, after watching that video. . . make sure to stop before the bike part and apply it to your life and thinking. . . Do you miss anything by following their advice. I like to think I’m really good at paying attention. My wife even asks me sometimes how I keep track of so many details. So, when I saw this video at church recently it raised by awareness that my paradigm probably isn’t as open minded as I think it is because of what I choose to pay attention to. I can do better and always try to seek first to understand and Stephen Covey put it. Have a great day!

Needless to say and as I expected, the President and new manager were informed of my decision. The new manager didn’t like it one bit and encouraged me to come in on Monday and tell him I was no longer looking for work. I couldn’t do that. As nice as the company is, the salaries are so far below par that I needed to make a change. After the encouragement from the owner about my mysterious other 80%, I’m intrigued to find it, tap it and increase it. For the last six months I’ve been waffling between...
