for one more day written by Mitch Albom is a great reminder that many of us have more than one more day, including me. This story about a man on his attempt at suicide takes a side trip into some in between where he is able to spend the day with his mother as she tends to those passing on or living that think of her. He gets to know all the things he missed out on and learns to forgive and value himself. He becomes motivated to live and grasp his family and friends. . . Hrmm, what a concept. Quotes of note:
"You count the hours you could have spent with your mother. Its a lifetime in itself."
"The more you defend a lie, the angrier you become."
"’Secrets Charlie’, my mother whispered, ‘They’ll tear you apart.’"
