Hey there! In this video, I wanted to share with you about our men’s Bible study this morning. It’s always a great time when we come together and each bring a verse that speaks to us in the moment.

We started off in the book of Joshua, discussing how great God is and how He has everything under control. It’s a comforting reminder that we just need to be faithful and rely on Him. We also spent some time talking about the armor of God from Ephesians, and how each piece serves a specific purpose in protecting us.

An interesting question came up: can we put that armor on someone else? It got me thinking about how, just like with our kids, we can try to clothe others in God’s protection, but ultimately, they have to accept it for themselves. As they grow older, they may choose to throw it off.

That led me to reflect on the importance of being part of a community, like our men’s Bible study, when it comes to putting on the armor of God. When I try to do it alone, I might put the helmet on backwards, the breastplate sideways, or hold the sword by the wrong end. But when we come together in His name, God is among us, helping us to properly understand and apply His Word.

Iron sharpens iron, and as men, we sharpen one another. It’s a blessing to come together in humility before God to share, learn, grow, and pray together.

Well, that’s all for now. God bless you, and have a wonderful day!
