Top o’ the Mornin’ to Ya! I’m coming to you from Las Vegas, where I’m attending a Dynamic Life conference. One of the key takeaways from day one was that when we avoid or run away from our greatest fear, particularly when pursuing a result or goal, we actually create, live and reinforce that fear, blocking ourselves from achieving the desired result.

For me, this fear has been the fear of failure in buying a business. Through the teachings of Tony Robbins and the reminders at this event, I’ve realized that this fear has been holding me back from seeking out and purchasing a profitable business. By not facing this fear, I fail to serve others, provide for my family, and make a greater impact.

The solution is to face our fears head-on. We need to imagine and feel the worst-case scenario, even having others reinforce the idea of failure, to recognize that even in the worst case, it’s not as bad as we might think.

Setting aside our fears and moving forward is crucial. When we avoid our fears, we actually create more fear. Instead, we must identify the fear, sit with it, and then realize that it will never be as bad as we imagine. Most of it is made up.

Remember, God created you for a purpose. He knows you’re a sinner and sent His son to die for your sins so that you can be free of all fear. The Bible is full of instances where angels appear and say, “Do not fear.” It’s a Biblical message.

You be blessed!
